Booking and service

Terms & Conditions

1. Business and service area

Nakai Blom Mobile Spa provides mobile massage, beauty and general wellness services at customer locations in Cape Town, South Africa. Availability depends on the requested location, treatment, date, therapist capacity and a suitable service environment.

2. Enquiries and confirmation

A website form, WhatsApp message or other enquiry is not a confirmed appointment. A booking is confirmed only when Nakai Blom Mobile Spa accepts the request and confirms the treatment, date, time, full service address, number of guests, complete price and any other applicable conditions in writing.

3. Prices, travel and quotes

Treatment and package prices displayed on the website are the owner-confirmed service prices in South African rand. A location-specific travel fee may apply and will be disclosed and agreed before booking confirmation. Group requests or services without a displayed price receive a complete written quote before confirmation. No undisclosed fee will be added to a confirmed booking. If the scope changes at your request, the revised price must be agreed before the additional service is supplied.

4. Deposits and payment

Any required deposit, accepted payment method, payment deadline and balance due will be clearly disclosed and agreed before confirmation. Never submit card, PIN or online-banking credentials through the website form.

5. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds

The cancellation and rescheduling conditions applicable to a booking, including any reasonable charge or deposit treatment, must be disclosed before confirmation. Any charge will take account of the circumstances, notice given, ability to fill the appointment and the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA). Where the business cancels and cannot provide a suitable alternative, amounts paid for the undelivered service will be refunded. Nothing here removes a consumer remedy required by law.

6. Late arrival and access

You must provide accurate access information and be ready at the agreed time. Late access may shorten a treatment when extending it would disrupt later bookings. Any consequence or charge must be reasonable, disclosed and consistent with the confirmed booking and applicable law.

7. Suitable location

You are responsible for a lawful, safe, clean and reasonably private space with suitable access, parking and any facilities agreed in advance. The therapist may decline or stop a service where the environment, behaviour or requested activity creates a safety, hygiene or professional-boundary concern.

8. Health, suitability and treatment limits

Do not put health information in the general website form. Before treatment, disclose relevant allergies, injuries, pregnancy, medical conditions, sensitivities or professional advice through the agreed private channel. The therapist may adapt, postpone or refuse treatment when reasonably necessary for safety. Spa treatments support relaxation, beauty and general wellness; they do not diagnose, treat or replace medical care.

9. Minors

A parent or legal guardian must make and approve a booking for a minor, remain available as reasonably required, and agree to any age-appropriate treatment conditions before confirmation. A service may be declined if adequate consent or supervision is absent.

10. Client conduct and therapist safety

Respectful conduct and professional boundaries are required. Harassment, threatening behaviour, illegal activity or inappropriate requests may result in immediate termination. The business may take reasonable steps to protect staff and recover lawful costs, subject to the CPA and the circumstances.

11. Hygiene and results

Reasonable hygiene and professional care practices will be used. Individual experiences and cosmetic or wellness outcomes vary, and no result is guaranteed. This does not limit rights regarding the quality and safety standards required by the CPA.

12. Groups, promotions and vouchers

Group requirements, timing, minimum numbers and prices must be agreed before confirmation. A promotion or gift voucher applies only when expressly offered with written conditions, validity information and any CPA rights.

13. Photos and testimonials

No client image, recording or testimonial will be used for marketing without separate, voluntary permission that explains the intended use. Refusing marketing permission will not prevent a booking.

14. Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for gross negligence or rights under the CPA. To the extent permitted by law, Nakai Blom Mobile Spa is responsible only for direct loss caused by its failure to use reasonable care and is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate client information, an unsafe venue, ignored aftercare or events beyond reasonable control.

15. Events beyond reasonable control

Travel disruption, severe weather, illness, safety incidents, infrastructure failure or similar events may require a booking change. The parties will try to arrange a reasonable alternative; refunds or credits for an undelivered service remain subject to applicable law and the confirmed terms.

16. Website and intellectual property

Website information is provided in good faith but availability and service details may change before confirmation. The business does not promise uninterrupted access to the site. Brand material, original text and graphics may not be copied or commercially reused without permission, except where law allows.

17. Third-party services and privacy

WhatsApp and linked third-party services operate under their own terms. Use of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

18. Concerns and disputes

Raise a service concern promptly through the communication channel used for your booking and provide enough detail for a fair response. The parties should first try to resolve it directly. You retain the right to use any regulator, ombud, tribunal or court available under South African law.

19. Governing law and changes

South African law applies. These terms may be updated for future bookings; the version accepted when a booking is confirmed will apply unless a later change is agreed or required by law.
